Mr Alima organized and sponsored for three years in a row, EBOLOWA OPEN and the past two years, Joseph A.B Oyebog, founding president of OTA has been his guest of honor. This year, OTA benefitted from Huegette Forestiere, the timber exploitation company led by Mr. Alima.
While the decision to participate in EBOLOWA OPNE was a very controversial one based on the timing and activities on deck, once more, the decision was beneficial to OTA. The governor Felix Nguele Nguele was happy with OTA`s presence in Ebolowa and congratulated the initiative. Joseph handed a symbolic racket to the governor and an official OTA outfit for 2016, 1000 tennis balls along with 10 rackets were donated to the Ebolowa region through the OTA center run by Poukem and administered by Mr. Alima
A week , later, on a very brief notice, Joseph left Douala for a one day trip to Kribi (family) to honor the first birthday of Mr.Alima`s daughter. A private lesson was given to Mr.Alima at the Julie hotel tennis courts maintained by OTA`s coach Erik Ndja. Both Mr. Alima and Joseph have developed a great friendship which can be beneficial to both the people of Ebolowa, Kribi and OTA.
Mr. Alima has promised to donate 20cubic meters of top quality wood to assist OTA in the ongoing construction in Souza. The estimated value of his donation can be valued at over 10000000fcfa a little over 20000dollars. Over joyed by Mr. Alima`s very kind and generous pledge, Joseph expressed a lot of gratitude and called on Cameroon`s company leaders to follow in the same light. He reminded everyone that 94% of OTA is funded by Americans while Cameroon benefits 100% of OTA.
The president announced that the wood will be used to build three Buckaroos (outdoor standings) which will serve as a standing place, a temporal eating or dinning shelter and a bar. The future design of this will reflect strictly African tradition……….
